We have done so much today! First we got up to go to Pearl Harbor. We got there and we went back on a boat ride to the Pearl Harbor memorial for the USS Arizona. The memorial was really pretty, but really sad to think about all the men who died. Then we went back to the hotel for lunch, and then we went really far out on a sail boat, and got snorkel gear, and then went snorkeling. We saw a bunch of turtles and really pretty fish. We were snorkeling for an hour. It was really fun. Then we went to the pool, and had dinner. I had the best protein salad EVER!!!!!!!!!!! Then we saw these awesome fireworks. It has been a great day. I will try to give you all a photo dump really soon, but here are a few.
The picture at the top is me, Tess and James standing over the wreck of the USS Arizona. There is tons of oil that still leaks out from the sunken battle ship.
The second picture is also the oil from the boat.
The third picture is of the control and engine room of a submarine at Pearl Harbor.
The fourth s a picture of me and Tess on the boat to get to the place to snorkel.
The last picture is of the fireworks that a they had here. We watched them from the pool, and they were really close.
